headshot requirements

To make your pet look like the hero they are, we need:

  • Clear, high-resolution image
  • True colours and features visible
  • Natural and proud expression
  • 1. USE A HIGH-QUALITY CAMERA (PHONE OR DSLR)

Get close enough to capture a sharp, high-detail image — this ensures the final portrait is crisp and professional.

    • Focused and not blurry
    • Move closer to your pet for a clean, sharp shot
  • 2. GET DOWN TO EYE LEVEL

Eye level — not above or below them.

    • This makes the portrait feel personal and powerful
    • Creates a strong, heroic “military portrait” look
  • 3. GOOD NATURAL LIGHTING

Lighting is everything — this is what brings your pet to life.

    • True fur colour and fine details (whiskers, eyes)
    • Avoid direct sunlight, flash, or artificial lighting
    • Soft, natural daylight works best
  • 4. LOOK STRAIGHT AT THE CAMERA

Try to capture your pet looking forward, not sideways.

    • Best pose: head and shoulders forward
    • Both ears visible
    • Both eyes clearly visible
    • Use a treat or toy above the camera to grab attention
  • 5. KEEP THE EXPRESSION CALM (OR PROUD)

A little personality is great, but we recommend:

    • Mouth closed or gently open
    • Neutral or alert ears

No barking or tongue hanging out too far

  • 6. REMOVE ACCESSORIES

    Please remove:

    • Collars
    • Harnesses
    • Hats or bows

THE RESULT
